Impact of corona in tourism industry
Introduction
https://www.effectivecpmcontent.com/qgez7v6wev?key=9638ff137b3bd9f60364ed813ec2fd45Researchers have found that the spread of the coronavirus during the winter season, more commonly known as the “coronavirus”, has had a negative impact on tourism in the country. The virus is responsible for severe respiratory infections and diarrheal disease. Researchers from Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in Germany found that annual peak visits to Corona hotels were reduced by 4% during the first three months of 2016.
They also found that a number of airlines stopped flying to Corona due to its high risk (70-85%), and resort operators could not organize activities in time. The researchers said if there is no effective control measures put forward by government, tourism will be negatively impacted in India.
Corona is located on the northern coast of India on the Bay of Bengal and it is one of these places where people come to spend their holidays during the winter season. It is an island with a population between 20,000 and 30,000 people spread over 850square kilometer. (320sq mi). It has a tropical climate with average temperatures between 16°C (61°F) and 32°C (89°F), but occasionally reaches 35°C (95°F). The highest temperature recorded was 38.7 °C (101.3 °F) on 15 June 1997 when it reached its maximum daily average temperature at about 17:00 local time. The sea breeze helps keep air conditioning running during the winter season, but after mid-summer temperatures often drop below 10 °C (50 °F). The island is frequented by many tourists from across Asia due to its beautiful beaches, calm waters and its famous coral reefs which are visited by fishermen from across Asia who use them as fishing grounds or dive sites during their stay. Although it can be accessed by road via National Highway 5A or National Highway 31, most visitors stay at resorts along its coast or reach it through ferry boats operated by privately owned boats called Coronas which make frequent trips between December through April each year when tourists come to visit them and stay at resorts such as those run by Aditya Resort Management Company Limited; Hotel Coronas; Coral Island Group; Coral Island Hotel; Coral Island Resorts International Pvt Ltd.; Hotel Coral Island 2; Coral Islands Resort & Spa; Coral Paradise Resorts Pvt Ltd.; Coral Resort Pvt Ltd.; Coral Reefs Resorts Pvt Ltd.; Royal Inn Coronas; Sun Sentinel Resorts & Hotels

1. What are the impacts of the virus on visitors? Are there any benefits apart from the fact that it helps raise awareness about health issues? And
2. Is it worth taking precautions about this particular travel route/activity as you could get infected with other viruses?
The Cost of Prevention is Always Less Than the Cost of Cure
A new virus has been making its way into the air. This one is known as the coronavirus (Covid 19) and it doesn’t create any symptoms, it is only able to spread through our lungs. It doesn’t seem to have any ill effects on human beings, but it can cause serious illness in animals. The virus is a huge threat not just to animals, but also to people. Once infected, people can become very ill and die within days or even hours of contracting the disease.
Since this virus has no symptoms, there is no way for doctors or hospitals to detect it before they are too late. This makes it a major threat to our health; especially when you consider that this virus isn’t found in any other part of the world or in any animal species. The Erythrovirus (CORONAVIRUS) – which causes vomiting and Diarrhea does not affect the human body at all, however during an epidemic period, many birds and other animals will be affected by the disease. Birds such as quail and pigeons have been found dead after being infected by these viruses. These birds are being monitored daily at various places around India by government scientists in order to understand how much damage they are doing after they are exposed to CORONAVIRUS-infected birds and quails; even though their immune systems are weak due to their age and lack of nutrition.
As soon as Coronavirus-infected animals succumb on their own backyards (i.e., outdoors), so do humans who come into contact with them: an estimated 28 million people worldwide since middle 2011 have been infected with Coronaviruses – mainly from wild birds like quail and pigeons – during epidemics involving these two diseases [and] were either already infected with Coronavirus or had unknowingly become unknowingly infected because of cross-contamination from contaminated food products (e.g., chicken). The World Health Organization estimates that 88 million people have been exposed during outbreaks of both diseases [and] worldwide deaths from these two diseases could reach 5 million by 2012 if nothing is done about them

The coronavirus is a member of the family of viruses known as coronaviruses. It is a severe respiratory illness caused by a group of viruses that includes the coxsackievirus A, dengue and Chikungunya viruses. The majority of people infected with these viruses die from naturally occurring complications such as pneumonia, but some individuals develop serious complications, such as liver disease and kidney failure.
The highly contagious virus can be spread through coughing, sneezing and skin-to-skin contact. Any who have been vaccinated against the flu cannot contract the virus. Vaccination can help increase vaccination rates to prevent future outbreaks if they occur in areas where there is limited or no access to healthcare facilities.
The symptoms are usually mild, but in some cases patients may have high fever and respiratory symptoms such as cough and shortness of breath. The virus spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids or objects contaminated with them (e.g., vomitus or blood). Prolonged exposure to infected bodily fluids may lead to more severe symptoms such as pneumonia or meningitis, especially for those who are exposed for long periods of time or are immunocompromised (e.g., AIDS). Asymptomatic infection can cause significant illness in adults and children up to 12 years old; however, only about 1% to 3% will develop symptoms following exposure. In most cases people recover completely within 2 weeks; however, some cases may linger for a few months before recovery occurs.
